For clarinet, bass clarinet, piano, electronics and lights | 10:00 | 2022
Six Days of Demise evokes a journey the soul might undergo after death. Inspired by the Bardo Thodol—commonly known as the Tibetan Book of the Dead—the piece is structured around the transitional stages that follow death, woven through with fragments of memory, both painful and tender.
Scored for clarinet, bass clarinet, piano, live electronics, and audio-reactive lighting, the work offers an immersive and intimate reflection on life, death, and the spaces in between. It presents a glimpse into the composer’s personal vision of mortality, shaped by loss and remembrance.
